Decision time in 5 days? Would you regret not having a tree? Could other fun christmas-y activities be put into the works to make up for not having a tree? Sounds like a good excuse to construct some sort of elaborate gingerbread house. 🙂

Hmmm….that's tough. If you want to go really kitschy-crazy but stick with some semblance of the holidays, how 'bout one of those silvery-tinsely fake ones?? They're fun…And I second the call for a gingerbread house!!ps — thanks so much for putting me on your blog roll!! I have to do one of those still!!

First I want to say I love your new blog layout especially the map — so cool. I love maps. As for the tree, we decorate the same Norfolk pine every year, which lives on the porch except for Christmastime. It is a goofy, Charlie Brown kind of ugly tree, but beautiful in its own way, and different from anyone else's tree. so I think go for something new and fun and different to go with your new life in Le Petit Village! you can always go back to traditional another year.

Also, forgot to say, the pink sparkly snowy thing does look holiday-ey.
