the snow is pretty, but no shower? That's just cruel! BTW, butter my butt and call me a biscuit is just about the most hilarious thing I've ever heard!

Wish I could take credit for the line but I heard it on Dr.Phil (can't believe I just admitted that – don't tell anyone)

butter my butt and call me a buscuit is a southern saying! also:I'll be as quiet as a mouse peeing on a cotton ball!

I love the pictures, especially the second one! nice. I live in sunny south florida, and while we don't have snow…we have been freezing our butts off the last several days…brrrr! I hate taking showers when it's cold out, let alone one without hot water…so I understand if you stink!!!

Your photos are so lovely….I really like the second one…so peaceful looking. Being without hot water would be a real issue. I say put the tea kettle on or a big pot and boil up some water. Kind of old fashion but hey, you do what works. Oh you do need gas though..I assume you still have power(?).

Sol – taking showers, even hot ones, in the cold sucks! I heat the bathroom for a good hour before even attempting a shower here, and then I do the fastest of fast drying rituals. Looks like I'm doing some sort of naked cha cha towel dance!Ellen & Deb – the scenery is beautiful here, so the photos kind of take themselves 🙂 But it is even more beautiful in the summer. I'm counting down!!!Hot water is back! Thanks to the handyness of the Boyfriend's Brother
