Yes, my dear, princess life can be tough sometimes. But bless your prince's heart. Second on the cheese Santa, cheese Easter bunny, and maybe I would dig Valentine's day a little more if there were more cheese hearts! Enjoy!

Lovely post. France do such wonderful choccy delights unlike Spain! I guess the usual warm temperatures here don't make it a good idea.Anyway, sounds like you had a wonderful time being a princess. Hope you were lounging, reading your magazines with your tiara firmly in place 😉

Maybe it's like galette du roi, but Chocolate Santa instead? Whoever gets the Choc Pere Noel gets to be the princess? How sweet!

Must be the holidays is stoking all those good deeds from your good husband. My sweet wife would think she had died and gone to heaven. I will have to consider doing something so nice. By the way, she would be convinced I was trying to make up for something I had done wrong.

Awwww what a sweetheart!! He really did try didn't he? Though, if I were you I wouldn't let him live down the having to look a up how to start fire online. I mean you have to have a bit of fun right? 😉

Ha, the princess has to clean up the mess. That was sweet of him. But don't eat the chocolate Santa.

That's cool. The only time I ever got to do nothing was when I was on total bed rest during maternity leave on pain of premature birth. I loved it! It's totally different though when it's a spontaneous loving gesture. Your husband is a treasure.

I'm trying to stay away from all things cheese and chocolate, having gained some (cough, cough) weight living here. Yes, my skinny jeans still fit (when I jump off the cupboard into them). It's just a shame my stomach hangs over them. But, ah, yes it's nice to feel like Princess for a day – even if you have to clean up after a hurricane.
