a spoonful of sugar

Looks like Ruby (aka Prince Phillip) has taken over babysitting duties for La Petite. He’s like a male (and a dog, duh) version of Mary Poppins. All impeccable manners, and benevolent dictatorship rolled into one. If La Petite ends up speaking with a BBC English accent, color me, ‘not surprised’.

  3. Cuteness all around! He actually looks like a wise and gentle dog–just like Mary Poppins. By the way, I love that movie so. And now I'm wanting to watch it and feel like a kid again.

  5. So sweet! Our dog is part lab, part shepherd, and when our daughter is running around the backyard, our dog will run next to her and “herd” her away from flower beds and toys. It's the cutest thing ever!

  6. Awww! What a good dog. I love this kind of stuff. And hey if La Petite ends up bilingual she's better for it, right? 😉

  8. Ruby may be all impeccable manners and a great babysitter, but it sure looks like La Petite is cooking up a plot of some sort.
