traffic

You have to see it to believe it….
{progress}

…and here it is, Le Petit Village’s very own traffic light!

Sure it was only there for a few hours as some roadworks were being done but we had one. And of course The Husband and I got stuck at that red light. No other cars or people in sight, but we got stuck there, and waited. But before we could see it turn green, one of the road workers drove up, waved us on, and took the light away.

And that was that.

  2. There isn't a single traffic light where I live either, and I LOVE that!Got many road bumps though (sleeping policemen…) – 5 between the main road and my house which is about 1km.

  3. I think they were doing an experiment. They wanted to see how long people would actually sit there at a red light with no other traffic coming from the opposite direction.

  7. French roads are the best and so well looked after – its a pleasure to drive about the place compared to UK. We even have a truck come down our lane here to dust the road from time to time – we don't even have tarmac LOL!

  9. Give you so much credit for stopping and waiting! And not stealing the little red arrow sign (which college me…and current me would probably do).
